What pantanki doesn't like about The Beer Emporium:
This place used to have a great vibe and a quality feel , when food was more prominant . However nowadays the place is tired , empty and it smells of the toilets. We walked in and the smell was strong across the other end of the bar and its a long bar) we did not stay to order , it is seriously that bad and someone needs to spend some money and sort this out . I arrived at the restaurant around 6:30pm on a Friday, when it wasn't very busy. I ended up spending £20 on a single pint of beer and a pizza for one person, which is quite pricey for London. Unfortunately, I had to wait nearly an hour for my pizza to arrive. Despite others at my table who ordered after me receiving their pizzas 20 minutes earlier, mine took much longer. The staff were unhelpful and unclear when I inquired about my food. The restaurant had a strong damp and toilet odor, which was not very pleasant. The smell seemed to be coming from the venue's toilets, making the experience less enjoyable.
This is a fantastic restaurant! The staff are very knowledgeable about the beers they serve. Just a heads up, phone reception can be spotty inside, so it's best to plan meetups in advance!
This is a fantastic spot to grab a drink. I really enjoy the underground ambiance. The only downside is that they offer just one type of cider on draft.
The Beer Emporium is always my recommendation to people who come for a drink in Bristol. The vibe of this place is really awesome and the alcohol is really nice!
Had tables available on a Saturday afternoon, but still hate a great atmosphere. Would have thought here if we haten't Thought already!
