Diners rave about the Chicken Jhol and Bara, praising their flavor, while others found some menu items underwhelming. Service varies, with some appreciating the attentiveness and efficiency, while others noted delays and communication issues. The restaurant is conveniently located near the Colston Hall and Bristol Hippodrome, making it a popular choice for pre-show dining. Despite a few drawbacks, many patrons encourage food lovers to discover this hidden gem for its unique offerings.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to try this restaurant as it was closed, no communication from restaurant, did not return my calls, and yet still slits available for booking on open table, very poor.
We made a reservation, but when we arrived we found out that the restaurant was closed for the next few weeks.
After reading the reviews, I can confirm that they are accurate! Although the restaurant is a bit tucked away, the food and service are excellent. Our group of six tried a variety of dishes and everything was delicious. Central Bristol diners should definitely check this place out.
We had a fantastic meal before heading to a concert at the O2 Academy next door. The food was excellent and the service was great, despite being the first customers to arrive when they opened on a Sunday evening.
I booked the restaurant with ease for first valentines meal out with my girlfriend and the food and service was excellent. Never left more than 5 mins with empty plates but allowed time to converse until we were ready for next course. Recommend to Ny couple looking for a relaxing meal at a good price
