I've been going to this restaurant for about 7 years now, I like their selection. They pretty much have all the basics that you could order from take out, plus sushi. There's a bar dedicated to American food for people that aren't crazy about the Chinese food so everyone can eat. They have a fruit section, a salad section, and a dessert section. They always appear to seat you within a minute of you walking in the door... View all feedback.
What Nick N doesn't like about Century Buffet:
I am going to give this place 3.5 stars. This is my first time eating here and I did the takeout buffet which for lunch is only $4.99 per pound. I loaded up my plate and everything tastes decent. The only thing I really did not like was the chicken wings. The green beans and spinach are awesome, I had the general tsp chicken, chow mei fun, vegetable lo mien and need and beef and broccoli. All very good. All the food... View all feedback.

The only thing I really did not like was the chicken wings. The green beans and spinach are awesome, I had the general tsp chicken, chow mei fun, vegetable lo mien and need and beef and broccoli. All very good. All the food was served hot, I literally was grabbing the food as it was coming out from the back on the trays. The service was good and you can smell the actual Chinese food ... not the smell of dirty socks like everyone says
Idk about this place. I'm not a picky eater so I'm fond of buffets. I go to one almost weekly. Usually even if the decor is lacking, if the food is good I usually go back and recommend the food. However, Century buffet in bristol is that one buffet I would not recommend. It's like they're not even trying any more. The hot and sour soup was off, the items at the buffet were laughably bad.. They even messed up warming up the frozen chicken nuggets. It's a shame because this is the only chinese buffet in bristol.
Even though this buffet is closed I still don't like it.. Went here with my mom to eat and decided to go here. The food is fine it's not warm as you think.. it does smell like dirty socks when you come in... The decor is dated and the walls are just disgusting... The good thing is that they have yummy desserts like cookies, ice cream, and chocolates! My mom didn't like this restaurant either. It's so sad that this was the only buffet in Bristol. I wish there was more. I'm glad that this location is closed the food is not good!! I prefer Super Torrington Buffet wayyyy better!!!!
Did a take-out order tonight. Standard Chinese buffet fare. Food was OK tasting, but felt the selection overall was lacking. A weak 3 Star rating.
Quick cheap and convenient Boofays are a special breed of restaurants, you don't go to one for personalized service or gourmet food. The appeal is the wide selection of different food and the fact that you just go up and load up your own plate without waiting around for some server. Century Boofay is typical of many of the Asian oriented ones. Food is decent but never great or exceptional. Century does have a wide selection of different items including sushi, a Mongolian grill, some seafood and the usual stuff you would expect. All the food I had here was tasty and fresh and what I really enjoyed were the veggies. Not over cooked into mush like some places, Several different broccoli choices as well as some vegetarian options so eating healthy is possible here. The staff was pleasant enough and were really good at taking away empty plates, refilling water and bringing the check quickly when they saw that your gluttony was coming to an end. Boofays are different from regular restaurants, not a place to go to be fawned over and treated like royalty. Just a place to go to get lots of different types of food at really inexpensive prices. And Century Boofay delivers exactly that.
