When we arrived at Hotel du Vin Bistro, our reservation made through OpenTable did not go through, so we did not have a table despite booking over a week in adv... read more When we arrived at Hotel du Vin Bistro, our reservation made through OpenTable did not go through, so we did not have a table despite booking over a week in advance. However, the staff were helpful and were able to find us a table. They were pleasant and accommodating, and the restaurant had a lovely setting. Unfortunately, the food was only mediocre. Despite our anticipation for the meal, we were all ultimately disappointed.

They presented the birthday guests with a s... read more The service at this restaurant was fantastic. We celebrated two birthdays and the servers took excellent care of us. They presented the birthday guests with a small cake adorned with "happy birthday" written in chocolate and a glass of champagne, which made them feel special. The staff lit our candles and brought out the birthday cakes. Unfortunately, we were disappointed that there were no scotch eggs available, which happen to be my husband's favorite and we had seen them at another Hotel du Vin in Clifton. The only downside was that we were seated near the fire exit doors. Overall, everything else was fantastic. Thank you.
