A massive portion of large chips and large haddock for £13.50 easily fed my son (7 and I. Good chips and fish with lots of crispy batter bits too. Also massive props to the lady working by herself on a Saturday evening (short staffed maybe? . A decent chipper, this! Although I'm surprised that it's an award winner I've eaten from her a number of times and the chips are good.

I ordered a couple of lunch specialties. great place! I wish I would stumble faster! the midday fish and chips with homemade wetar sauce were legendary, and so it seems to love the ruined sausage and curry sauce with its chips. I can't believe this place is here 20 years and only now I noticed it! will buy again.
