A very small tapas restaurant with a big atmosphere and (on our Friday) excellent music from a local saxophonist and keyboard player. Estrella beer and excellent red wine complemented by bread and olives, calamari, tortilla and other delicious tapas. Only downside was that there was room only for tiny tables in this cosy little eatery. View all feedback.
What Eddiebech doesn't like about El Rincon Bristol:
Came in mid week to a busy atmosphere they got us a table had a couple of beers while we read the menu. We had 3 tapas each an 3 beers. The food was fine but the whole meal was £70 I thought for the meal we had it was expensive. An nothing special not worth what we paid. View all feedback.
It's not expensive! £3.50 for a generous portion of incredible bravas! Live music on Fridays... delicious calamares and friendly staff! We had the best tortilla and enjoyed the best sangria in Bristol! A really great choice!
My Spanish friend took us there as he highly recommended it! Great food, friendly staff, authentic atmosphere and I ordered a whole jug of very reasonably priced sangria to myself! Loved it!
I had lunch for £20 which included 6 leeks, 1 potato, 1 sausage, and 1 piece of bread. The service was friendly, but not very attentive. It's a shame because the restaurant has potential.
The first reviewer, Wow factor 78, seems to have missed the mark in their assessment. The food at this restaurant is incredibly authentic, reflected in the number of Spanish patrons dining there. While the venue may not be fancy, those familiar with local tapas bars in Spain will not mind. The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is delicious, and the overall experience is fantastic. While there may be some flaws, if you're looking for a taste of real Spain in Bristol, this is the place to go.
......feels like Spain in a squat in Bedminster but no bad thing. It has loads of charm, great food but expensive. Expect to pay main course prices for each tapas. Music was brilliant Fabric and the ghosts). Sweet staff. Well worth the visit.
