Berggasthaus Edelweiss - Bristen

What a pleasant surprise was this place. We decided to go up the hill WAY to not see the cathedral that this place existed. The shield looked, but was not sure they were open. Enter and was surprised to see the place full of regular guests after Sunday mass. We didn't want the enormous meal they served, but they were happy with only appetizers and desserts that were all plentiful and tasty. Our waiter was a nice, charming guy who felt very welcome.

Einladendes Berggasthaus, freundlicher Empfang durch den Besitzer. Schöne, neue Zimmer, heimelig eingerichtet. Gutes Nachtessen. Frühstück sehr einfach, Butter, Konfitüre, Käse, Orangensaft und Kaffee.

Mit der Bahn gut erreichbar, ca.1/2h liegt dieses Restaurant ideal für zum Kräfte auftanken. Sei es um ein Bad im See zu nehmen, einer Wanderung zur Windgällenhütte, oder den Weg zurück zur Bahn.Gute Küche, tifig und freundliches Personal.

Wir wanderten dem Weg entlang und es geht wörtlich kein Weg vorbei, mitten durch das Gartenrestaurant. sehr schön gedtaltet, spezielle Getränke selbstgemacht, super Deko.

This is a wonderful place. Golzern is just a magical place and the Edelweiss provides rest and refreshment for the many walkers that pass this way enjoying the magnificent scenery. Always a friendly welcome from Adrian and the food provided by Monica and the team absolutely lovely. Warm and clean and attractive inside and pretty outside with lots of flowers and a small play area for the children. Very easy to sit here and just enjoy life. I'm definitely going back!
