Yard Bird is my go to place for wings and beer if I want to sit down and eat with mates. The wings are always consistent. I have tried other stuff on their menu and the servings are massive. Great value for money. It is always buzzing at nighttime. During the day it is a bit quiet but I have had some good lumch sessions here in the past. You definitely need to try the food here if you have not already! I think Valley store is better than the Paddington one! *** My considerations: 1. Food 2. Value 3. Service 4. Atmosphere. All weighed evenly but Food/Value receive more weight when a tiebreaker is required! *** My scale: Take note that this is of course all based on my unqualified opinion! 5: Extraordinary and should never be dished out easily! 4.5: The benchmark and would travel to eat here. 4: Excellent. First option when making food plans. 3.5: Would settle here if stumbled across it. 3: Average but not in a rush to come back. 2.5: Edible but not coming back. 2: Falling short of expectation in 3 of 4 considerations. 1: Should shut up shop. ***

Dear owner. Nice one! Casual, easy going, friendly staff, cracker menu, (damn those wings are hot)! Love the old movies playing inside. I am now a regular!

If you're on the hunt for some tasty chicken wings, then this is the place to come. My absolute favourite is the chipotle BBQ. They have mastered this sauce, sweet and tangy with a great smoky flavour from the chipotles. The wings, although smothered in this smoky/sweet sauce, still manage to maintain a crispy underlay! This dish is not spicy at all. If you are looking for a spicy one and can handle the heat then you should get the death sentence wings...you have been warned though...these are HOT HOT HOT. I had a taste and my mouth was on fire. The garlic and Parmesan wings are my second favourite. They also do great chilli cheese fries. The burgers are not the best here. Come for the wings!!!

Wings were the best thing on the menu, but they had changed the last time I went in (a few weeks ago). Sitting outside is much nicer then inside, but the food Ive found to be too ambiousious, which results in dissapointment for the customer. I go back because im local, wouldnt recommend otherwise.
