West End Garden is a favourite local haunt that never seems to change. A true and faithful class. Good, cheap and cheerful, the restaurant offers standard Viet and Chinese fare in a pretty garden setting. Can't go wrong. View all feedback.
What Jacey Kulas doesn't like about West End Garden:
This is a traditional Asian restaurant with old-school decor that is somewhat clean. However, with COVID-19 guidelines in place, customers may expect a quicker turnover in table cleaning. The food is delicious, but the main issue is the slow service. It takes about three reminders to get a server's attention, and they often mention that they are busy when asked. View all feedback.
Looking for something interesting on a busy Saturday night in West End we stumbled upon West End Garden. It had a pleasant open air feel about it even though we were seated inside. We shared mains, a fish compote style and a duck dish....Serving size was generous and the food was very tasty. We washed the food down with some house chardonnay which hit the spot. Service was prompt and attentive. All in all were pleased that we chose to dine at West End Garden.
My partner and I ended up here last night after having a really bad experience at another restaurant near by, where we ended up walking out. We walked into the West End Garden and were seated straight away and the service was excellent from start...to finish. The food was also gorgeous. We will be returning here regularly for sure.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to grab lunch while at the children's hospital. They offer a wide variety of delicious meals that are great value for the money.
The restaurant appears to be old-fashioned and worn out, but still offers options for contactless ordering and payment. The menu is quite extensive, but I couldn't resist ordering the Vietnamese roasted duck, while my wife went for the garlic pepper prawns with scallops. We also shared some steamed rice. I enjoyed a Corona beer with my meal, while my wife had a glass of Chilla Sauvignon Blanc. The food arrived promptly, with my duck being crispy and perfectly moist inside. My wife raved about how delicious her seafood dish was. The service was attentive, although a bit informal.
