I went to the bar on a Saturday night with a friend for a chat and a couple of drinks. There was a function outside but we enjoyed the comfortable armchairs and air conditioning inside. The bar staff are friendly and we didn't have to wait to be served. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Pool Terrace & Bar:
Not many patrons but took a while to be served. Bartender appeared to be new on the job as he kept referring to recipe guide. Cocktail turned out ok. Atmosphere was nice, photos of pool in TripAdvisor appears larger than reality View all feedback.
I was looking for a roof bar to enjoy a drink and this place came during my Google search. This place is located on the 4th floor of the Hyatt Regency, formerly the Lennon's hotel, which I remember well in my...youth. On the 4th floor certainly not spectacular views, but views from the seats around the pool were the Queen Street Mall. The staff was exceptionally friendly. I only stayed for a craft beer from a local brewery called Sea Legs.
What a nasty little hiding place that's just great. We found this by chance and are so glad we did. A friendly and beautiful place to take a break.
What a view. From here, the Myre Centre looks great. You can see the old buildings Facards and they look great. Beautiful cocktails also
This area of the next hotel is absolutely stunning a large pool, beautiful cocktails and fantastic views, not to mention 1 dollar oysters!!
Very pleasant experience and very popular with the locals, pool looks inviting however preferred a quiet drink before dinner. Only downside was the volume of people which added to the passing foot traffic in the mall. Arrived at 4:00 pm on a Friday probably peak...hour as workers finish and looking for a drink.
