The Ming Inn - Brisbane

This is a disappearing icon of Australia; the Mongolian Beef, the Peking Duck and the Char Sui. Soon will be no more in Australia as we expect more from our cultured restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful, not over worked as we were the only ones eating in. Steady stream of takeaways as you do on a Thursday night. We had the spring rolls for starters and mains of Lemon Chicken with Beef and Cashews, all tasty with the fried rice. And of course deep fried ice cream to finish off. Under $100 for the three adults drinking chilled water supplied by the restaurant.

Love, love, love the yummy dishes we got from here. My new fav Chinese restaurant. Definitely coming back. Double thumbs up from my son too.

We visited on a Friday night with our family of four after a recommendation from friends. Unfortunately we found the whole experience uninspiring. On a very humid Brisbane night we continued to sweat as the front door is open, letting in both the sticky air and traffic noise from busy Grange Rd. Our three dishes were acceptable but taken straight from 1970's Australian-Chinese fare. Heavy on the sugary sauce. Probably most disappointing was the slow service, despite the fact we were the only patrons for almost all of our visit. We're unlikely to be back for a second experience.

Good food fast clean crispy.Lots of fresh ingredients.Plenty of options from the menu . I have tried a good variety of dishes. I have never been disappointed.

I have been going here weekly for take away and occasionally for dine in, for years! Never Been dissapointed once! Fantastic chinese meals no matter which one you pick, friendly service,and BYO! Highly recommended! Interior decor is a bit dated, But i don't go there to look at the walls i go there to eat the food! Kevin
