This is the best authentic Thai food I have ever had. I cannot understand why anyone would give them less than 5 stars or write a negative review. We ordered takeout and shared some of their delicious vegetarian dishes, along with a tasty phad Thai and a phenomenal goat curry that melted in your mouth, cooked in a lentil sauce. Everything was incredibly fresh and cooked with love, with attention to detail like fresh... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Green Mango Thai Restaurant:
It's sad that such an establishment with a pretty good reputation has let its quality control fail. The four of us had a variety of dishes and the common thread was its blandness. The Vegetarian Pad Thai and Spicy Noodles with tofu and vegetables were really grim. Guys, please get you act together. Let's hope it's just a one off. View all feedback.
A bit expensive for what it is more of a café feel than a restaurant. Duck pancake starter was nice, mains were generous. Panang curry was tasty, but vegetables were bland (maybe needed grilling). The Pork Belly was okay, but just deep fried and not slow cooked. It was supposed to have a tomato chutney, but it tasted like pizza sauce. Staff were all lovely. Noticed that the restaurant accepts 'Entertainment Book ' vouchers maybe this accounts for the slightly higher prices. Soft drinks were expensive considering it wasn 't fine dining. As I said, really nice staff and some good food, but too many other options that do a bit better.
This is an awesome restaurant where you can find the exact flavour of asian cuisine. The best place I've been so far to experience the taste of Asia. I'll definitely go there again and again. Thank you The Green Mango Ashgrove.
Objectively the best Thai in the North(ish) side. The menu is quite extensive but the portion size and flavour is next level! They also manage their own deliveries, so no having to deal UberEats or anything like that. The staff are lovely and the vibes are great too.
I was worried at first having read previous reviews, but I thought I’ll judge it for myself! Well the spring rolls were magnificent and the duck pancakes were pretty good for entrees I then had the crispy pork, wonderful!! My wife had Papaya salad and she loved it! The outside area was atmospheric and its well worth the visit. The owner came out to check on everything a few times( very attentive) thouroghly recommended by us!
My Thai restaurant competes with Siam Samrarn in West End with its stunning traditional Siamese decor. The dishes were nicely presented and delicious for the most part. However, the Tom Yum Goong and Thai Spicy Chicken Mince Salad were overly salty, almost inedible, and the Calamari was bland. The standout items were the beautiful Mocktails and Thai Desserts.
