Taigum Tavern - Brisbane

5/5 really enjoyable meal, went with my parents, I had the steak sandwich with speck, ei and cheese, the other ordered chickenburgers with speck and a chicken carving with the Mexican funnel and some garlauchbrot all came in a contemporary fashion (about 20 minutes), no problems with the meal, they were all really good, would recommend.

I only gave this evaluation because they can't go deeper. my wife and daughter ordered the beef from the Saturday menu. eating was disgusting with the meat fat, the gravy cold and clumpy with an oil coating on the top, the sweet was cold to the point that the butter placed at the top for the taste did not melt at all. other males who ordered the Saturday evening special from chicken schnitzel, seemed to have difficulty cutting the carving and used steak knives to cut them. the counter service was bad for the point of indifference to the customer.

Absolutely terrible. great start, met at the door through a drunk yab, with intelligent commentaries about the clothes we wore. service was poor and eat under average for the money they demand. much better opportunities around the opposite.

Above expectations...perfect for the whole family. We recently had dinner at the Taigum Tavern, I was a bit sceptical about going having read previous reviews but decided to go anyway. I had family visiting and it was close to home. We all ordered something different off the menu including; chicken schnitzel, lamb shanks, chicken burger and ribs. When the food arrived (all at once) it was of very generous servings, great price and the service was with a smile. We will be back for sure.

Taigum Tavern eat there if you have all day to wait?. I decided to take my wife and 5yr old son out to lunch, but wanted to go somewhere local and supposedly easy. Well walked in there at about 1pm and sat down to look at menu.Took about 5 mins to actually order due to slow service, However this is when the issues started. Noted the time of 1.13pm at time of order. We ordered was a snitzel, a M/R Rump steak and chips, and a kids nuggets and chips. All simple stuff. We estimated it should 15 to 20 mins at the most.
