We were in the city attending an event and using my Entertainment book membership, found this place near by. It was really busy but the staff were really good clearing tables and find us, and others, tables. Again the staff were good with taking our drinks orders and then our food. Normally if you good elsewhere, when it's busy you seem to get forgotten but not here. We had the house burgers, which were huge and very... View all feedback.
What Elena S doesn't like about Santa Monica Pizza Burgers Bar:
Went with a group of work colleagues for lunch during the week. I had the lime chili chicken burger and the size nor the taste was that special. The fries were also tasteless no seasoning at all. Some of my colleagues have the same experience with the steak and the parmi. We were also charged $3 for tomato sauce and $1 for alioli, even do the chips don't come with sauce. Of course you don't know anything about it unt... View all feedback.
I recently tried the lemon pepper Calamari Greek salad with fries at this restaurant. The Calamari was sliced very thick, almost like square-cut chips, and had too much coating making it hard to chew. The salad included unripe tomatoes, a yellowish-green salad with unappealing brown dressing, and terrible olives. What made the experience even worse was the lack of human customer service - everything was done through a QR code, so I couldn't ask any questions. Additionally, the meal was overpriced, especially considering I ordered extra Calamari and only received around 10 strips.
I went to the restaurant during happy hour and found that certain drinks were cheaper, which was a nice surprise. The menu offered a diverse selection of burgers, one of which I found to be particularly delicious. The staff was efficient, helpful, and friendly.
My two friends and I chose to dine at this restaurant after our usual spot was closed due to COVID19. Despite some initial noise from traffic, we quickly got used to it. We were pleased to see that the staff took necessary sanitary precautions before seating us for lunch. The menu offered a variety of options, but we all ended up choosing the delicious and well-filled burgers, which were fresh and reasonably priced. Our server, Sarah, was friendly and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. We all agreed that her cheerful demeanor will be a big factor in our decision to return to this restaurant in Brisbane CBD.
Allowed for a quick bite and a few drinks during an evening. Good place with friendly service. Laugh beautiful and crispy. Good atmosphere.
Not a quiet place. Indeed the traffic noise can be quite horrendous due to it being located at an intersection. But as a spur of the moment decision it turned out to be quiet fortuitous. My salmon was fresh and crispy skin crackled one of the best and with more sophisticated veges would have been a cracker dish The ravioli was a bit ordinary but edible For the young at heart with pizza and burgers being very popular indeed.
