Our family of 4 had a lovely fish, chips with garden salad and drinks meal at the Red Emperor today. Friendly service and good value in Stanley Street area of South Bank. View all feedback.
What Rebeca Schimmel doesn't like about Red Emperor Seafood:
This place used t be an Indian place which was ok from memory. I went there for fish and chips and what I got was a decent sized fish and appropriate chips but the fish was frozen not fresh and overall oily and dressed up....The worst part is they also do Indian! Not sure if you can get crumbed fish on curry!!!! Anyway steer clear the Indian was in a heater so food **** Not sure if it's the same people but the old pl... View all feedback.
Pricey, but taste is on point!! Barramundi, Roughy, swordfish all delicious!! Even got some small Gobia appetizer was compliment from the chef.
It's expensive here and the food is not nearly as good as I expectedIt's not necessarily bad, but for the price it's disappointing.
My friend big chef recommended this restaurant 5 years ago when I came for a visit and it was amazing.
Came here for dinner for a Saturday night. Red Emperor offer some really great priced meal deals including $10 for fish and chips. The eatery itself was clean with plenty of seating and staff also friendly. Service portions are slightly above average and the fish and chips were quite nice. They also offer Indian as well for about $15. There is street parking available around the area as well as free underground parking attached to Coles. I would come back if I was after a nice easy cheap meal
Dont waste your money at this business, they have the worst fish and chips I have ever had and 95% ended up in the rubbish bin where it belongs
