This is a great spot to enjoy drinks, boutique beer, wine and Prosecco, yes they did have Prosecco at a brewery. Very impressed! A group of about 30 of us were there for a birthday. They put us in a great space all our own and we had tables, stand up tables and stools. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food menu was great and i thought quite reasonable. Our selections were delicious. Great position near to Suncor... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Newstead brewing Company:
Newstead Brewing do great beer and the range of craft beers available here is fantastic. The food is good - well above average pub quality standard. We attended on a night when the Reds were playing in Brisbane and although it was busy, we still managed to get an outside table and the food didn't take too long to arrive. We tried two types of pizzas and they were pretty good. The place is very clean, open and a great... View all feedback.
Very enjoyed the selection of the beer and advice from the bar on my bier choice. if the sweet potato fries and the selection of dives really went well, will be back for more.
Yuuum! I live closer to this, but always they go to the newstead one. finally came and had the crispy salmon special. it was so delicious that I almost licked the place clean. <br/ <br/ keen to try breakfast, like the personal, atmosphere and eating is delicious. happy to have this place as a native.
Back to newstead brewing co for a company dinner and had some of the most delicious finger food lunch! the package included a drink card and a pre-ordered menu that had deliciously prepared items like pumpkin arancini balls (my personal favorite on the day) and pizzas. overall, great atmosphere to be and enough outside heating to keep us warm. super friendly staff that has fed us well, and that is guaranteed to eat during the pasture for other mozens within the venue. in any case would come again for a proper lunch with mates! recommend them for company dinner or lunch with their family or friends.
Food drink newstead braut its own beer, and they have to choose over 30. I chose a grizzly Oatmeal-Stout. this is serious, industrial strength, with a dark color and stiff, creamy taste. great way to start the evening. for the meals, between four of us, we ordered mushroom croquettes $12, two steak specialties on an ugly $34 each I bite the board, thought the price was $24 and two pizzas; a margherita $19 and a mushroom $24 . Although the croquettes were destined as a deer, everything came out immediately. there were four balls to serve. they were rich and creamy, with a crispy teig, and accompanied by a spicy aioli sauce. the pizzas were as good as if they were prepared in an Italian pizzeria. they were decent sizes and broke with tasty beats like mozzarella, wobble, mushroom and basilikum. the bases were thin and crispy. my black angus steak was well cooked, just as I like it, but still delicate and full of taste. it came with roasted razed pumpkin, sauteed brussel sprouts and a white sauce, the perfect supplements to the meat. the whole food was of high quality. Obviously, only the best quality ingredients are used and the hardworking cooks are made by their meal with love, care and love to detail. we could not have been happier. my only weight was the slightly blunt, curved knife that I was allowed to eat my steak. I love the cool, airy and expansive ambiente this place with its high ceiling, industrial decor, strong lighting and the huge beer juices behind glass on the back. there are several areas, outside under deck or inside. as a cool spring eve we sat in the interior in front of the open kitchen. it was quite empty, with only one smashed from other diners, especially outside. we were practically the only ones sitting in the interior, but that didn't bother us and we enjoyed the calm, unmarried and relaxed mood. service service was courteous, friendly and efficient. the drill here is that they go to the bar counter to order and pay, give the cash bank their table number. then they go back to their table and wait. and yes, it was a bit of a waiting time of about 20 minutes, but then I think that is understandable, as everything is delivered freshly to the table cooked. comfort we were comfortable at our large table on the back below the huge beer juices. the furniture is quite utilitarian, with wooden chairs with padded seats and large wooden tables with melamin plates. temp inside was perfect for a cool spring night. the acupuncture was good and we were easily able to conversate, but that probably had to do with the serenity of other diner instead of any wonder of sound technology. cost for my wife and I paid $84 for two drinks, a starter and two main courses, a pizza and a steak. this shows just how far we go towards “Weimar Republic” levels of hyperinflation. think about it: two drinks, two meals and one in a quiet suburb pub, for 84 pesos. thanks to the administrator of our economy, that we sit in the predicament in which we are. aim there are plenty of clean and well-equipped toilets down a little corridor behind the barthek. Together we had a pleasant and fun evening here and everything went smoothly. there are many exciting beers they can choose. the food is fresh and tasty and served in generous portions. service is professional and efficient, and we enjoyed the casual, relaxed and spacious ambiente. the location in the castlemaine street is convenient, with simple street parking. I would probably avoid this place, although at a “match day” or a “match night” given its proximity to the nearby suncorp stage. the prices are on the high side, but then they will enjoy a superior culinary experience. book they can book online through the company's own website, and it is a fast and seamless process. they receive a quick confirmation as well as email and text reminders to their booking.
