The large New York-style pizza at Delicious Newness is both delicious and a good value. The menu offers a great variety of options, and the location is charming and unpretentious. While the sitting area may be a bit cramped, there are also tables available closer to the road. This restaurant is perfect for families looking for great food in a cozy setting. View all feedback.
What Gina Breitenberg doesn't like about New York Slice:
Despite my previous disappointing experiences, I decided to give it another chance. The pizza was served piping hot, and I couldn't wait to dig in. I may have been a bit too eager because I ended up burning my mouth not once, but twice. Nevertheless, the pizza was delicious. View all feedback.

Felt like a snack and thought I could try a disc new york pizza. I want to try to create my own next time, although I tried the highest what was served beautiful and hot. it was thin and had crispy crust that personally my favorite pizza is it really difficult to say how delicious it was because I tried it while I was absolutely faded probably my first meal this day and it was much afternoon. but there is nothing special about saying either of course it is not compare with pizza/adily restaurants and I don't think they should be compared even, but would be out of the food in orderly night.
I went on the way to grey street to meet lady meatball and mini meatball for dinner when I was eating a man who eats a pepper pizzeria, and it looked good, I kidnapped, ordered a few pieces of pepperoni pizzeria and then engaged the staff in the conversation while it was often warmed up. only then I realized that this was the same new york slice that has in the valley, on the caxton street, in kangaroo point and a few other places in brisbane. No matter, I decided to put my previous disappointing experiences aside and focus on the opposite. the pizza was served hot. Felt like a snack and thought i might try a slice of new york pizza. Want to try creating my own next time I come back though ! I tried the supreme , which was served nice and hot. It was thin and had crispy crusts which is personally my favourite type of pizza Its really difficult to say how tasty it was because I tried it while I was absolutely famished - probably my first meal that day and it was way way after noon. but there is nothing special to say about it either Ofcourse it doesnt compare to pizza/italian restaurants and i dont think they should even be compared, but would be alright 'night out' food.
I was walking down Grey Street on my way to meet Lady Meatball and Mini Meatball for dinner when I spied a man eating a pepperoni pizza and it looked good. I ducked in, ordered a couple slices of pepperoni pizza and then engaged the staff in conversation while it was warming in the oven. Only then did I realise that this was the same New York Slice that has outlets in the Valley, on Caxton Street, in Kangaroo Point and a few other locations throughout Brisbane. No matter, I decided to put my previous disappointing experiences aside and focus on the present. The pizza was served piping hot. I'm not a patient man, so of course I burned my mouth - not once, but twice. The pizza was drowning in grease, which was more of an indication of the amount of pepperoni that adorned it, which was substantial. After my first bite I was forced to blot at the grease with a serviette, something I've only done a few times. The pizza is what I've come to expect from New York Slice - it is nothing at all like a slice of pizza from New York, but average by Brisbane standards. The pepperoni, though plentiful, isn't great. Above average crust, average sauce and below average pepperoni. I wouldn't rule out another slice in the future, but there are many better pizzas on offer within walking distance.
