Unexpected friends called by so an impromptu dinner of Chinese takeaway was organized. A quick scan of Trip advisor and after reading reviews made a call and 15 mins later we were enjoying a tasty selection of freshly cooked meals. Can recommend for takeaway and we will now visit fir dine in service. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about New Chung Shan Licenced resturant Chermside:
Group of 10 for a family meal. Food was of a low standard. The mains were varied with meat being full of gristle and not in any way digestible. Service was very poor and I will certainly not be returning or recommending to anyone else. 1 out of five is too kind in reflection of the service provided and food served. View all feedback.

We celebrated our friends birthday at this place. Food and services were excellent. Every thing was delivered in a timely manner.
The owners & staff give a friendly welcome as they Seat you in the dining room. An extensive menu which caters for dietry requirements. Ask Helen or Lisa what meals are gluten free. The food quickly appears on te table - plates still sizzling. The atmosphere is calm as you enjoy the company of your friends. I'm lucky to live so close and visit when after excellent Chinese food. An extensive bar is available at very reasonable prices.
Great food, fantastic service! Plates brimming with excellent, fresh food, a Chinese taste sensation. Ordered chicken and corn soup, boneless lemon chicken - brilliant, Mongolian lamb, Chinese vegetables and of course rice. Very reasonably priced. Full bar service. What is not to like about this place. Free parking a bonus. Banquet meals available.
This restaurant has been there forever and is standard Aussie Chinese fare, saying that in a good way, as the food is delicious. I have been there two times recently and both times the food was great, the service was good and the atmosphere is good on a busy night. A bit quiet during the week. No BYO at this restaurant, but they have enough choice of beer and wine to suffice. The special pork spareribs come out in the foil which they light up. All the food I've had here has been yummy. Especially the special pork ribs and the banana fritters.
