Madame Rouge - Brisbane

The atmosphere and decor of this place reminds me of my fav bistro in Paris.

On Wednesday night we celebrated our adult son's birthday choosing Madame Rouge on his recommendation. We each decided on the set menu. This was classic French cuisine at its best. The service was attentive peppered with a dusting of friendly wit. The ambience created by claret velvet curtains jazz dished up at the perfect volume and the vibrancy of people enjoying drinks at the bar as the centrepiece was warm a day welcoming. Two things that are so important for my dining experience - comfortable seating and acoustics that allow conversation without shouting at my dining partners. I realised that I was completely comfortable in both areas even though the place was so alive with patrons enjoying themselves. I would definitely recommend Madame Rouge and will make it my go to for the French experience.

I absolutely loved it, the waiter was excellent very helpful and met all our needs. The entrees were beautiful, loved my main but would like to see more a variety for mains as you can go anywhere and get steak but other then that everything was lovely. Dessert was lovely also.Will definitely go again

Dined at lunch for a work function. Service was great. Drinks and food were fantastic. The three course lunch deal was also great value! Will be back.

Invited to a friend's work event which was held here I went in blind and prepared for anything, and was pleasantly surprised. Immediately upon entering Madame Rouge's the atmosphere hits you and you feel as if you've entered a small part of French culinary life. Seated and our dinner choices preordered the table service began, and I was impressed from the start. I had the seared scallops for entree, the duck for main and the raspberry souffle for dessert. All were prepared and cooked beautifully, and the flavours of each were just great, nothing bland about the food here at all. The wines of choice for the group were very good and went well with our meals. Candles lit our night and the decor was a very good mix to produce a cozy warming feel to the place which fitted perfectly. I can highly recommend dining here if you want to impress a partner for a special night or go on a date. It's that type of venue. Friendly and knowledgeable staff really made the night special. I'll definitely be back.
