I have eaten here many times before QPAC shows and have never, ever been disappointed. The service is prompt and friendly, the food absolutely **** delicious and I am always finished with plenty of time to spare to attend the show I have booked. I 100% recommend dining here ! View all feedback.
What Melissa D doesn't like about Lyrebird Restaurant:
This place is not the one to come to if you’re in Brisbane. Service was average, there was no meat on either the pork belly or lamb pasta. When we expressed our concern we were told that we should go on social media and see all the great reviews. So here we are giving our review. Perhaps steer clear of this place for a bit. There are many more wonderful options in the area. View all feedback.
Visited on Friday 16th Sep 22. Food was very high quality. Very good. Unfortunately some of the wait staff were abrupt and one down right rude. Because we did the prepurchased meal package with our theatre tickets, we accidentally left without paying for two drinks and water. Normally would be horrified and would contact the restaurant to arrange payment but actually feel it's a fair trade off for the disappointing customer experience.
The staff are always so accommodating. The food is very tasty. The menu offers a great variety to choose from. Always enjoy.
Prior to Sleeping Beauty, we booked a set-price $75 two course meal, including a glass of wine and sides. The lamb backstrap was very tender, with a range of sauces and garlic fries on the side. A small but delicious range of desserts were available; the rhubarb was outstanding, and the lemon meringue to die for. Service is prompt, friendly and professional, and we finished with plenty of time for the performance. Book ahead; very popular and highly recommended!
We chose the Lyrebird because it provided a great pre theatre menu (we selected the 2 course package including sides and a glass of wine or beer) and because of its vicinity to the theatre. Once we were shown in the service was fast, friendly and without fuss. For entree we both had the Darling Downs Pork Waldorf and then the Angus Beef for main with hand cut chips and mixed garden vegetables for sides all tasty and delicious except the side vegetables could have included broccoli rather than the undercooked bok choy otherwise all very enjoyable the pork was melt in your mouth yummy. We finished our meal, took a short walk around the precinct and then straight into the theatre to see the show.
