Kasalong Thai - Brisbane

We are here when I have read reviews, it was authentic, but it was anything but chicken cashew was luke warm, bland and full or crisp cut carrots and various sweets, which seems the norm in Australia. very, very dissapointing.

One of my favourite authentic Thai restaurant in the Valley. Food is delicious and full of flavours. Service is good with affordable price. Like the marble table too.

The basic interior and surroundings of this restaurant belies the quality of the food and service. Simple and austere the interior understates the friendly service and good food that this restaurant consistently produces. I have been here three times in the past months and...am still gobsmacked at the consistent high quality delivered. Most recently our party of five persons ordered diverse dishes and all raved about their choice. We did a taste test across the five plates and the vote was unanimous that a best could not be nominated. They were all high quality dishes... Beef red curry, chicken green curry, honey chicken, tamarind duck, vegitarian spring rolls and fish. A constant flow of patrons and a quiet, efficient and friendly atmosphere. Moderately priced!

We had eaten at this location previously when Thai Wi-Rat was located here. We enjoyed the food then so thought we'd come back. When we arrived we were surprised to see that it was called Kasalong Thai. We thought we'd give it a try and...we're happy we did. The food was really nice, although the lunch size portions could have been a little bigger. They had a baby seat too which was handy. We'll be happy to come back.

My partner and I decided to try out a Thai restaurant, and we were delighted to discover that Kasalong Thai offers a variety of authentic and familiar dishes from Thailand. We shared Moo Yang, Khao Soi Curry, and Duck with Tamarind Sauce, all of which were delicious. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food, which truly tasted like it was made in Thailand. I highly recommend this restaurant.
