The large bar area offers various drinks, while a separate room houses gaming machines. The bistro menu includes steaks, salads, and fish at reasonable prices. The Curry of the day was spicy and delicious, as were the steaks ordered by other diners. The staff were accommodating to special dietary requests. Overall, Harlequin Jack's offers a no-nonsense atmosphere with friendly service and tasty food options.
Bar, bistro and gaming well describes this venue well. located above the main railway station and accessible by stairs or stairs from the railway, they enter a large bar area with hockey and seating. various beer on hahn, weine and other drinks. a closed and windowless room has the slot machines thanks to the quarantine from the restaurant with several tables that give a view of the preparation of the speisen. a typical bistro menu of steaks, salads, fish and the like is available in hearty portions. most main cost around $12 with $18 specials including a pint beer (all types available). the curry of the day was huh with papadams and rice and something chutney. quite spicy and...read more
The most important thing is that it is not possible to make a decision. After I passed this restaurant several times, located directly at the main station, I thought it was time to check harlequin jack. as I did in the rule, I looked at their menu on-line first and I am glad that I did as they have member and non-member prizes. as a member is free and also on their website and the difference in the price is quite substantially at the entry I found the place quite quiet to be what was interesting as it was around midday. a gentleman behind the bar helped me get my member card as it was ready for picking up. he explained to me the place: bar service with drinks ordered on a counter and ordered food items on another....more
First time I went in there, I had the check in page thrust under my nose and they then proceeded to take 5 min to get my drink, 2nd time I checked in and got asked where my mask was and then told to leave ,as I have a medical condition I dont have to wear one but they did`nt even ask about this...so rude bordering on histerical
Order and pay for drinks at bar and meals at kitchen. Collect drinks from bar and, when your buzzer goes off, collect your meals from the kitchen.
Poor food quality especially that the bistro is related to Sofitel Central Brisbane. I had a burger. The meat tasted like a manufactured patty and the other components weren't much better. Sauces are served in plastic bubble packs. I certainly got my monies worth as the meal repeated on me for the next 12 hours.
