Contribute Feedback What Mrs A likes about Green Paw Paw:
We were in-between appointments and didn't want to be a face among many in the busy Toowong Shopping Centre food hall. Green Paw Paw seemed like an alternative with a good lunchtime specials menu as well as a comprehensive Thai menu (curries, wok food, thai salads, rice, street food, noodles and entrees). We settled for a lunch special (praram) and crispy pork dish. Both were really nice. A bottle of wonderfully cold... View all feedback.
What Bette Howe doesn't like about Green Paw Paw:
I have had better Thai food but that doesn't mean this one isn't good.
Green paw paw is a cute little place which is easily accessible. I like the whole set up and the lunch offers.
A good place for lunch and friendly staff. The curry puffs were good but the green curry could have been better.
Overall a good place to eat for a quick and satisfying lunch. View all feedback.
I ordered away from the green paw paw and found the eating pretty good, I ordered massamon bark, huh pad thai and also sweet and tofu chili basilikum stir fry. both the Massamon cow and the chicken pillow thai were really nice, but the chili Basilikum brats were not the best and the tofu was pretty chewing. I ordered steamed rice and cocosy, both of which were nice. in any case worth a try if they are after some delicious Thai food.
I always go with my man there, my food with reasonable price, the taste of the food always so good that surprised me. we want to try every meal from this Thai restaurant. very recommended to try and I quite sure that they will love it. I gave this restaurant 5 stars!
Great food, fantastic service. they have sticky rice and green Papaya salad! hooray! I'm always impressed when I come here. prices are low, quality is high and consistent
Not worth eating. The worst was the stir fried chili basil with duck (as the noodles were overdone and congealed into a mass that tasted like a cheap motel room) and the best was the chicken dim sim (which basically tasted like nothing, which meant it didn't taste bad). The green curry with pork lacked any sort of flavour and committed a grave sin of Thai curry, by having a random assortment of vegetables that really didn't belong (looking at you, broccoli). Everything was ordered medium spicy, yet nothing was any spicier than stale ground pepper. On the bright side, nothing was greasy or overly salty.
This place is a small street shop that serves Thai food at a similar quality to any other more expensive restaurant in Brisbane. Very fast service with chilled water and cheapish soft drink options in cans. Flaws would be their chicken seems to be reheated frozen slices which doesn't have the best texture. The prawns I paid quite a bit extra for were decent though.
