Was Adah Friesen at Deathproof a mag?

My favourite little hole in the wall for food and a few cocktails... as in I think about coming here at least once a day. The hot wings, and a tecate with salt and lime are my guilty pleasures. Oh and the **** marys.. and the margaritsa.. definitely a place to check out before (or after) a big night out in New Farm or the city. View all feedback.

What Florian Langworth dislikes about Deathproof:

Food was very average, go for a drink but don't even pick up the menu. I ordered the "Cuban steak and pulled pork sandwich" it was burnt, came with silverside and a tiny bit of pork which I couldn't detect a flavour. The girl who served us was the only redeeming quality, friendly and helpful. View all feedback.

Would highly recommend Deathproof for an arvo cocktail and feed. Weekends are a blast too, but get there earlyish if you want a table! Cant go wrong with the new burgers or wings! Not the biggest selection of beers (however there is something for everyone) but the staff make up for it ten fold with their extensive knowledge and fun cocktails. Wont disappoint!

I didn't believe the hype - but now, I do. I'm not only a believer ...but now a regular :) When you go there, get the Mexi poutine, any of the wings and/or the cuban sandwich and thank me later. Laters

A fun little bar with lashings of character, Deathproof is certainly worth a visit. Extensive bar menu with great wings, "toasties" and tacos including the friendliest bar staff on Brunswick St. The only issue is, this place gets SO packed on Friday and Saturday night that it's standing room only. I'd certainly recommend this place for the sheer fun of it all. Great G&T's!

Deathproof is a fun little bar with great cocktails and tasty chicken burgers. The bar staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is lively and inviting. While the food is hit or miss, the cocktails are definitely worth trying. It can get quite packed on weekends, so it's best to arrive early if you want a table. Overall, Deathproof is a must-visit spot for a good time in New Farm.
