What Allison Moore doesn't like about Cook Co. Grill:
Terrible service, waited nearly 10 mins for someone to come to the counter and seat us with no more than two tables already seated. Reasonable menu however very slow too cook! When our food did arrive after more than 40 mins (still only 2 other tables in the restaurant, who had eaten) we found our steaks to be pre-cut?!? and luke warm, the fries were fresh though. We had here an employee Christmas party very nice eating good service very friendly fun barman (brazilian chap good service) everyone was satisfied with the event location / food/service.
Had the breakfast buffet. the agitation had no taste, the hatch-brown were hard and oily. nothing was hot. for the price they would expect a decent coffee, but it was from a machine.
Went on the look for Sunday morning breakfast in the valley end of the Queen Street. this restaurant found. it doesn't matter to blow to the breakfast. nobles were better than they looked. in any case it is worth going to the breakfast.
We were offered in mantra on quay, the cook and co as an breakfast option. the continental breakfast was very good. we have arrived almost at the end of the breakfast, but all the options were fully on camp. central location with very good coffee.
Had the buffet breakfast and was disappointed. Considering i heard so many good things about this place..massive let down. Bacon was chewy and not nice at all, eggs were powdered.. grilled tomatoes were great. Mushrooms i was excited, as i LOVE mushrooms, but way too...much garlic that it ruined them. Wasn't an enjoyable breakfast at all. Unfortunately we won't be back.
