While lacking a dinner menu and music, the staff is friendly and professional. The grazing plank comes highly recommended. With good value for money and delicious food, the rooftop bar is a great spot for a cocktail before heading downstairs. Though it may seem out of the way, Black Market offers a unique experience with a focus on local produce. However, be prepared for a lot of pumpkin dishes during certain seasons. A great place for a quick city meeting or happy hour with attentive staff.
It was a long time coming as this space was vacant for a long time. Black market provides a versatile range from coffee to lunch and dinner. Food menus a touch limited but the unique selling point is affinity with local produce. Vibe is welcoming and decor is interesting and a bit clever with heritage themes. Opening hours variable so need to check first- dinner only later in the week last time I checked. It would be good to see a greater selection of wine by the glass, given it is predominantly a lunch venue. It may seem a bit out of the way at the end if William street but a lot is changing in that precinct so check out black market.
Nice steak. Service was good. Only suggestion would be to include some more meat options on the menu
Great little place for happy hour drinks after work or a walk around the city. Really attentive staff and relaxed atmosphere. It is certainly full of government workers, but it is still worth checking.
Great tasty, nutritious balanced meals and great coffee! love the nachos and the butter chicken! also the Atlantic salmon is great.
Good coffee, good service and plenty of space to sit. Many grab and go eat options.
