Bird's Nest Yakitori - Brisbane

Great food and service. Would recommend for couples, family and business but you better book a table as they are popular.

I visited The Valley location on a Saturday and had a great experience. The staff are lovely, the venue is really nice and the food couldn’t be better. I had the set menu, it was delicious and filling. Can’t wait to go back.

We visited last week and were surprised how good the service how tasty the foods were. For someone like myself who is adverse to poultry meat, I still had a fair amount to choose from including pork, mushrooms tofu. So good, thank you.

Skewered vegetarian and non vegetarian morsels barbecued over charcoal is the house specialty, known as Yakitori in Japan. My kids call it “chicken on a stick”. There are safe choices to make here, as skewered BBQ chicken gizzards are not part of my cuisine exotica. May I say that I had the very best garlic prawns ever here. Oh rapture these were divine! And did I mention the 30 minutes of “ happy hour” from 6.00pm, to 6.30pm! Their plum wine and Asahi Black go down so well with chicken bao and octopus “balls”. Excellent service, great atmosphere and reasonable prices lead me to conclude best Japanese restaurant in Brisbane in its Yakitori sector.

Love this place! Tried a variety of dishes and nothing has disappointed to be honest. The crispy skin chicken wings are to die for.
