I find the taste of their coffee weaker than most places. It is normally very milky that I would ask for double shots which would cost me the same as single from Reverends up the road anyway. The latest blend we had here, Goldilocks, tasted slightly stronger than what we usually got and was actually quite nice. They also roast their own coffee beans and judging from the size of the roaster, they must be selling them to places as well. If you haven't reached your daily caffeine goal after Reverends and The Coffee Doctor, try double shot flat white here.

It is always my rule of thumb to go to the original roaster cafe in order to explore the taste of a particular brew. This morning is the turn for the Bear Bones coffee. In fact, I had this brew in other cafe before and it was impressive so the par was set high. Walked in about nearly all the tables were occupied (they only have four tables). Approached the counter, my gaze was caught by those food in the display cabinet. Never had a Green Egg Ham Brekkie Wrap so gave it a go and definitely a cup of flat white as well. Well, the wrap came first and it looked great. Taste was good, particularly the moisture from the spinach and tomatoes really neutralize the dryness of the bread. Portions of egg and ham were appropriated. Then, I had my first zip of coffee, which ticked all the boxes. The conclusion is that it is again a wise decision to try out where the coffee is roasted. It always is a guarantee.
