This cafe does not care about vegans and what they eat. I have been there about 3-5 times in the last 2 weeks. I take my own turmeric mix when I go to cafes and... read more This cafe does not care about vegans and what they eat. I have been there about 3-5 times in the last 2 weeks. I take my own turmeric mix when I go to cafes and ask them to make it on soy milk. Today they made it with honey. I took one sip, it had sooo much honey in it. I went and said something to the staff member and she said yeah we make our turmeric lattes with honey and I said I brought my on turmeric, to which she said I used that. I told her I have been vegan for 13 years and I just drank honey. They didn’t say anything else. I decided to leave and asked them to refund to my partner. They did not refund. It’s been a very long time since I have been this angry. Even after having a meal at home I can still taste the honey. I have also just found out from my partner that they put dairy cheese on our meal on a previous occasion when we specifically checked that the meal was vegan. I’m horrified and in disbelief that this could happen these days. Updated from previous review on 2021-06-29

I love the cozy... read more I brought some friends from the gym here after our workout. Some of the seating was in the sun, so we moved some tables together into the shade. I love the cozy old armchairs scattered around the restaurant – it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere! The service was quick and our coffees were brought out promptly. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! I was definitely feeling some food envy today with so many fantastic options to choose from. I highly recommend the omelette – it was amazing! The smoothie was also delicious and I would definitely recommend it. Great experience all around!
