Puerto Latino - Briny Breezes

Came with a group, looking to dance... Place had a nice atmosphere, good entertainment, DJ. Def. had a good time dancing! Food was OK for this type of environment, but what I like was the fact that you can have a sit down dinner, good, not great, be entertained, and be able to come back to my table in between dancing to relax, chit chat and enjoy my drink.

Well I came back for the second time (and last and boy it was different. We arrived for lunch and sat outside at the bar. We were the only ones there. We sat for about 10 minutes for the 3 employees to finish there conversation. I then had to ask for a drink since I wasn't offered one. As far as food, ordered the ceviche mixto and the guacamole. The food was pretty good until we discovered a hair. Our waitress (Catherine? didn't care, didn't apologize but made sure to do a full examination of the hair. We asked for the check and the manager. The manager came out, didn't introduce himself and started laughing when we told him about the hair. I stated 3 times it's not funny, it's disgusting. Again not a care in the world. We asked the servers name since she refused to talk when we asked her. We got the check and he took the ceviche off. He asked us numerous times which dish the came from. We didn't know since it all comes from the same kitchen. All the food should have come off the bill. I asked for extra salsa and it took 10 minutes when 3 people were doing nothing. The staff is horrible! They are only interested if your Spanish or you work there. We left hungry and extremely mad. Your staff needs customer service training. Awful just awful.

We came in on Sunday for a light lunch, the restaurant is very large and has indoor as well as outside seating. The food we had was delicious, the empanadas were perfect with a wonderful verde sauce to dip them in. We also had the shrimp tacos that were fresh and tasty. We noticed they have a stage inside and they have entertainment Thursday thru Saturday nights, it starts about 9 Breakfast as well as brunch is also available. On Sunday there were quite a few patrons who were having mimosas with their brunch items, which consisted of a large pitcher of OJ and a large bottle of champagne so you could make your own at your table. We did have a bit of a problem with service it seems our waitress forgot about three of the tables she had near the window. I was going to order something else but was unable to get her attention, so after a bit we were just ready to get the check and go. We will be back for sure to have a drink and dinner.

Found this place by accident so we decided to have a late lunch. The fajitas were very good along with their side dishes. Food came out hot. The omelette was very taste so the 4 of us were happy. Quantity of the food was also good.

Be prepared to wait 30-45 minutes a cold appetizer. Entree's will come an hour and a half later. Avoid this restaurant at all costs
