Delicious food as usual. Our waiter recommended a new item on the menu as an appetizer- the small poo poo platter. It was exceptional! We also loved the chicken satay and the shrimp pad tai. The food arrived hot, and was beautifully presented. Great food, service and ambience. View all feedback.
What Sierra Santanelli doesn't like about Lemongrass Asian Bistro:
After a negative first experience where there were several long strands of hair cooked INTO my food, I decided to give this place another shot 2 years later. My food allergy request for no eggs was not honored, with eggs in both meals. That's two strikes for me. Pretty disappointing as there aren't many places in the immediate area with good Asian food. We were seated in a corner banquette. The server was awful. Never came in to take drink order. Had to look for her. She didn't smile and had a bad attitude. The food was very good. It's a very noisy restaurant. Should have put some noise reducing ceiling.
The menu is huge and well-explained. The quality is excellent and the service very pleasant. There is a spacious outside eating area away from any traffic. This is a new location for Lemongrass, Boynton Beach and so much nicer.
We went on a Saturday night with another couple. The restaurant is beautiful with a large outdoor space. The food was delicious and the service was good, not great. Overall, this was our second time eating here and it won't be our last.
This was our first time to Lemongrass Restaurant it is such a pretty place First of all our waiter was so very helpful. Service was impeccable We had wonderful cocktails and fabulous appetizers and dinner We will definitely be going back
Having dined at Lemongrass in Downtown Delray for about twenty years we decided to try the Boynton Beach location which was more convenient for our friends. It's large and very nicely appointed but the food was awful. I raved about the Peking Duck Pancakes to my friend after having them in Delray. We shared an order- tough, dry and chewy. We left most of it untouched. My husband and another friend had the Korean Short Ribs- stringy, dry and almost impossible to cut with a knife and fork. One order of ribs was sent back and a vegetable stir fry requested with spicy sauce. It had no spice or sauce but at that point my husband just ate what he could. My sashimi appetizer and the salad were served and minutes later out come the entrees, one soup and an appetizer of soft shell crabs. All placed in front of us before we had a chance to eat our starters. Our waiter was very pleasant and felt bad that we were displeased. Will never return to the Boynton Beach location. It's worth the trip and valet parking to go to Delray which is well managed and the food is delicious.
