What User doesn't like about Josie's:
There were 4 of us and no one liked their food. The garlic rolls were a bit hard, so the oil did not soak in. Can't speak for why the other 2 did not like their eggplant rollatini or chicken Alfredo, but my lobster fettuccini was way too salty and the lobster was overcooked. My wife's veal piccata was decent, but it was supposed to come with vegetables. Instead, it came with 4 tiny strips of carrot. One the plus side... View all feedback.
I invited me out for dinner for my birthday. They took me to Josie’s, a very nice restaurant, for those of you who are not familiar with. We ordered cocktails a bang bang shrimp appetizer. The drinks were delivered ONE at a time. Never served the bang bang shrimp. Not to worry, we got garlic rolls that we did not order, that used to be complimentary but now being charged for. Next, we ordered received Caesar salad. We ordered the main course, I asked for shrimp pasta but there was NO SHRIMP. One of us was served their entree first, his wife received her’s second my meal, no such luck! The waitress advised my order got caught in the system, what ever that means. So my friends offered me some of theirs. About 1/2 hour later, my entree was delivered. My friend never received her 2nd drink but her husband did receive his. We asked for the check, paid it, packed up my entree left. The waitress was very nice tried to do her best, but a lot of people were complaining. I never been to a restaurant that served drinks entrees one at a time. Will never go back again! The guy managing Josie’s, will manage to run the place into the ground. Living in a community that frequents Josie’s, they will hear of my experience.

First time. Went for happy hour. The small plate were very good taste and quality. The tomato sauce was fresh and tasty. Drinks were ok. Not tops. Service a bit slacking. A group of 4. One plate at a time was brought to table. Chocolate cake was delicious but right out of the fridge. Would be better at room temp. Overall I will go back to try the regular dinner menu. Thanks to the chefs and staff. Good Job

The place was noisy and very casual with people apparently coming from the beach. Would not go back, as there are way better Italian restaurants.
The food was excellent. Being from Chicago I'm somewhat critical on Italian food. This was along with my top 5 Italian restaurant nationwide. I've lived in quit a few cities over the years and have to say Josie's is in the top 5.
