Some of us took a pizza, others ordered an ANTIPASTO MIST... read more Place with spoiled food We reserved a table in this restaurant on 23/07/2023 for a family celebration. Some of us took a pizza, others ordered an ANTIPASTO MISTO. The octopus was one the meals included in the antipasto misto. Me and my girlfriend started to eat it and we immediately felt it was smelly and with very bad taste so we warned immediately our relatives. We also warned the waiter with glasses which took back the plate of octopus to the kitchen and came back apologizing saying it was kitchen fault, they missed it, we are sorry . There were bad consequences from this story: they brought again a bad octopus (spoiled octopus) plus both me and my girlfriend were very bad in the following days, ruining our holidays. We had fever and diharrea. Be aware of this place if you care of your health. Service is slow and they often forget what you ordered, probably not enough workers for the restaurant. Many times we asked a tartufo icecream for the kids or extra water and they never brought them. Very disappointed.

The staf is rather distant and running around too much without paying attention. Perhaps due to the heat wave combined with a lot of guests although when we arrived there was still nobody else. The food is acceptable, but there are several better restaurants around. The grilled sepia cuttle fish was much undercooked and the fish appetizers too acidic.

Our table was litterally rocking, so we had to move. Ordered octopus starter a little rubbery....Then the red prawn pasta... Really not great it looked like the prawns were scooped from a big pot of small prawns and dumped on a whatever pasta. I had 4 small prawns in various states of distress so did my wife, who had ordered the same meal). Hardly worth €15. I picked a Chardonnay but was told they didn 't have it, but miraculously they HAD the most expensive wine on the menu €23 vs €15). Not a fantastic experience. Staff looked under stress. On a number of occasions, they didn 't know which table to serve which meal.

We ate here for lunch, it was busy but welcomes walk-ups as we were seated pretty quickly. The service is brisk, one waiter is brusque but not rude. We had a pizza “Ginecologo” and a pasta dish “Cavatelli al Frutti di Mare” with a bottle of rosé “Five Roses” . Both dishes were very good, perfect for a nice relaxing lunch by the harbour. With two dishes, water, wine and two coffees the cover it was €46 which is not exorbitant for its location. Recommended Recommended

However the service was distracted even though there were no many people there. The service was curt to the point of being rude and dismissive.
