Nice restaurant in Brindisi old town. Located few steps away from the main church and the Roman columns. We ate sauteed mussels with the addition of caciocavallo cheese served in a bowl of pizza (must try!!! , followed by a calamarata (a kind of pasta with swordfish and aubergines and a last a salt crusted wild sea bream, day fished. All was extremely good and tasty and even the quantity was good (we divided all by two, still ate a lot . Maybe a little bit pricey, for the average, but the ingredients were so good it has worth it. Even the staff was nice. Definitely suggested.
My rating is based on a very small experience so it should be considered as an even smaller contribution In any case people tried to be very kind to me but the result was poor I asked for a mixed sallad, to be served BEFORE a simple pizza and I was very clear on that point: I'm on the verge of diabetes and I have to eat vegetable fibers before carbohydrates, especially before pizza. So I did repeat my request to the waiter, to be sure it was clear but evidently it wasn't enough. Pizza came first and a few minutes later came my sallad
Amazing food (take the mixed grilled fish! Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Good price too.
Good place to eat good Italian old school food better service in the spring autum and winter when not so crowded but its up there with my favorite trattoria restaurants in Brindisi
