Grew up just south of the area, moved to Detroit but every time I come home, I make it a tradition to stop here. This is truly the best whitefish that I have ever had. While the food was very good, service was a little off. We were rushed to order and eat, so regulars could have the table they have a standing reservation for the table... We even offered to move, since they had several available. We just didn't think any customer should be rushed. View all feedback.
I grew up just south of this area and moved to Detroit, but I always make it a point to stop here whenever I'm home. This is truly the best whitefish I've ever had. If you find yourself in the area, this is the place to eat. The whitefish is freshly caught, and the restaurant is located right on Lake Superior. Just a heads up: they don’t accept credit or debit cards.
I always have a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The staff is lovely, and JB is our favorite server. A delightful surprise was the sweet potato paired with the house onion rings—absolutely delicious! P.S. The fresh white fish is definitely the dish to try!
I went for a fish dinner and was not disappointed. The service was excellent, even though there was only one server handling the floor. I will definitely go back again.

The waitress was incredibly rude and actually threw the silverware at us! She didn’t introduce herself, didn’t check if our food was okay, and never offered to bring us new drinks. The food was cold and needed to be reheated. They only accept cash, and the bill was impossible to read, so we have no idea if we were charged correctly. I would recommend staying away from this place!
