What Dante Lang doesn't like about Buffalo Boy:
Nice location, lovely service by 3 waitresses.High prices. Basic and noisy interior and barely passable food. Some half hearted attempts at Thai, questionable Vietnamese cuisine.Nothing to write home about. View all feedback.
The Vietnamese food here is outstanding, bursting with flavor and made with incredibly fresh ingredients. Thank you for the fantastic mushroom vermicelli!
Absolutely charming! This local gem offers delicious and fresh vegan Vietnamese cuisine. The tofu and mushroom vermicelli is absolutely divine! A special mention for their vegetable spring rolls – they’re fantastic too!
We started with a variety of delicious appetizers, choosing the gluten-free options to accommodate my dietary needs, and they were fantastic. For my main course, I had the Pho, and I must say, the broth has significantly improved! It was delicious, and the waitress even offered me extra fresh chili, which enhanced the flavor even more. The only thing I wished for was a side of chili oil to go with it! Overall, I will definitely be returning. The vibes were great, the food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. It’s wonderful to enjoy a lovely meal while feeling safe and having plenty of gluten-free options, all while supporting local businesses during these challenging times. Thank you!
Great food, friendly atmosphere and generous portions! We had a lovely night and left with no complaints. We ordered the salt+pepper squid, cold rolls, lamb shank, barramundi and sautéed greens, al of which we could hardly fault! Would recommend if you like modern asian with traditional flavours and fresh ingredients
I have been to this place many times, as the food here are just amazing, quality with modern twist and really catching up with the modern day food trend, unlike most of Brighton old shops never changed for decades, the items are reasonable priced or you can say heaps cheaper compare to similar restaurant your paid elsewhere in Melbourne, and the staff are also helpful as always. Nice and relax set up, causal and full of fun laughing people always enjoying their time here, the very few restaurant in Brighton that is trendy and care for the food qualities.
