We arrived at the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon for a pre-booked afternoon tea with a group of girls (5 of us and a baby). Unfortunately, the staff was unable to locate our reservation initially, leading us to start off in the wrong room. That place need tablecloth!!! That’s the reason for four stars. High level of quality and testing but I don’t like to put my cutlery up to scratched and badly painted table. We was served by Katrin and professionally and friendly has satisfied all our requests (age of the wine,weight of the fish ecc ecc). The shell of the oysters was extremely clean,highly appreciated. For £90 per person at least the tablecloth !
A great restaurant. the lookout is amazing as it is right at the sea and the old pier. eating and their cocktails are incredible. we got the seafood plate and was delicious, we had reservations in advance...prices are expected for such a stylish restaurant with high quality.
The most delicious seafood! The fish dishes were heavenly, full of flavour and melted in my mouth. I had the scallops to start and the barbecued cornish monkfish for my main, they were just exquisite. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff are so lovely and helpful. My only critique was the chocolate delice was far too salty, I love salted caramel but that was just too must salt.
A fantastic meal, two of us shared the Turbot and the other two shared the platter. Best seafood we've tasted in the UK in ages. Our waitress Emma was outstanding. We have dined all over the world, including Michelin starred establishments and the service we had from Emma was better than most of these places. We WILL be returning ! Thank you :
