What Nidgehammer likes about The Waiting Room:
Very decent coffee for us both for our journey home, I’ve had too many bad coffees from previously unheard of local coffee places at stations so this was a real bonus I only wish I could’ve got another on the train as I started to dip halfway home. A flat white and an espresso much enjoyed but a mark off for the size served, the smallest I’ve seen. View all feedback. What Nuk' Shady doesn't like about The Waiting Room:
If you want to vomit and feel ill all day go here! No hygiene at all, they serve rotten, gone off sour drinks at top prices. I purchased an matcha drink that once I got on the train I noticed was completely off and mouldy with bits of spoiled milk churning around with mould. Unfortunately I drank some before noticing, vomit inducing taste, felt so ill all day! Vile place. They do not respond to complaints either. View all feedback.

read moreThe Waiting Room Café, nestled within Brighton Station, is a unique blend of cozy ambiance and quality offerings. While the coffee receives rave reviews for its excellence, the food experiences are a mixed bag; delicious pastries contrast with occasional undercooked dishes. The inviting, non-corporate decor featuring wood and metal creates a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for waiting or working, with ample seating, books, and free Wi-Fi available. Though service can be inconsistent, and pricing a touch steep, regulars appreciate the café as a trendy spot for gatherings, unwinding, and savoring delightful treats while waiting for trains.
