This restaurant is very interesting due to its uncommon nature. Customers can buy or enjoy food while seated, although it may not be very comfortable as the counter is narrow with stools facing the street. The menu consists of British products such as cured and smoked meats, a variety of cheeses, a selection of wines, and other items like chutneys, honey, and jams. We tried a variety of meats and cheeses with bread and onion and picalilli chutney. The options included air-dried beef from Monmouthshire Trealy Farm, smoked and air-dried ham from Sussex, Wagyu salami from Highland Wagyu in Dunblane, olde Sussex cheese from Sussex, Stichelton cheese from Nottinghamshire made with raw milk, and Black Cow cheddar.
Received a gift box of cheeses, cured meats and craft beers from The Great British Charcuterie. Some wonderful flavours all round, and as a gift it was all very well-wrapped and presented and delivered swiftly. Would definitely think of sending as a gift to someone else as a bit more unusual.
Really, really, great customer service. There were a few hiccups with our order, but the speed and manner in which they were rectified was second to none. I'd definitely re-order from them and would highly recommend.
Food was amazing, beautiful food served perfectly with a gorgeous view of the sea. The cheese was amazing and the meats had perfect flavours
What a lovely place to for a glass of wine and some cheese and crackers! I have been here a few times now, and I have been so impressed! It's such a fanatic idea to have somewhere for lovely wine and snacks, but you don't need to sit in, it's a great place to get some take away charcuterie too.
