Came here with a large group of friends for Sunday roast really disappointing. Yorkshire puddings were overcooked and burnt, I had lamb which was cooked like school dinners, chewy and unpalatable. Gravy was bisto and the veg wasn't cooked properly. Would not recommend the roast here. Staff were friendly and service was good, but all six of us agreed it was poor View all feedback.
Great place, good food, good selection of drinks, ever changing seasonal menus (not just pub grub) fantastic staff and management, also less than a 5 minute stagger to the main line railway station, perfect!!!

Had a great night party bastille tag: French music, French cuisine and fun quizz: merci!
Have eaten here some recently and were very impressed each time. last night had the rumpsteak with chimichurri and it was delicious! perfectly rare, full of taste and generous help. the quiz night is also great fun and all the staff are very friendly. very nice local pub.
Sunday lunch and birthday party for 10 kids. Awesome food, great beers and craft ales, awesome coffee, helpful staff and my kids had a great time. It does everything a great pub should do.
