Contribute FeedbackSawadee offers a diverse dining experience, with some diners finding the food to be less than impressive, while others rave about the quality and flavors. While some found the starters to be greasy and bland, the main courses were described as perfect and delicious. The authenticity and quality of the food seemed to vary, with some praising the fresh vegetables and flavorful dishes, while others found the flavors lacking. Overall, the friendly service, pleasant atmosphere, and reasonable prices make Sawadee a charming spot worth a visit for those looking for a mixed culinary experience in Brighton.
This restaurant was extremely disappointing. The food was bland and uninspired, lacking in authentic flavors. The chicken with chili and cashew tasted like salt with no actual chili or herb taste. The sweet and sour dish tasted like someone had just thrown random ingredients into a tin of tomato juice. Each dish had a bland taste with an overpowering tin and tomato flavor. The chicken was also tough. Overall, a very poor and disappointing experience. I will be going back to the Giggling Squid, which I would give full marks in comparison.
A fantastic, authentic restaurant with great ambiance and the most amazing food. A great find and I highly recommend a visit.
Recommended by Blanch House Hotel 's room guide and it didn 't disappoint. We were warmly greeted and quickly seated and served. The food was authentic, plentiful and delicious. My daughter even said This is better than the food I had in Thailand . We loved it. The set meals made it easy for all of us to try a variety of dishes. Would return on our next trip to Brighton for sure.
Excellent food and staff are brilliant, definitely will go there again if we're in Brighton. Reasonably priced too
The place was like an oasis to enter as a family coming from a busy street. Staff were so nice and polite. But the food was not great. The spring rolls were the best among the dishes we tried. But none of the dishes were spicy, so the kids could eat everything.
