This is the first time I've been for a roast at the PPT since lock down and it didn't fail to disappoint. Although it is a pricey for the lamb shoulder), I'm willing to pay that bit extra to know i'm getting a banging...roast. The potatoes were excellent and the gravy had loads of flavour. I recently had three amazing meals at this restaurant. The pork dish was fantastic, with a crispy crackling, plenty of vegetables, and large fluffy Yorkshire puddings. The lamb dish was also delicious. The place was not busy, and the pear and sticky toffee pudding were exceptional. This was the best dining experience we have had in a long time and I highly recommend it.
The restaurant serves generous portions of roasted dishes and has a great selection of vegetarian options that are also dog-friendly.
Great food, amazing atmosphere! I will definetely come back to this tavern in my next trip to Brighton
