It was a beautiful day outside. The restaurant is one of the better value for money options, located close to the parking space. The seating is comfortable and there is not much of a wait to be seated. The venue is easily accessible by train, with clear guidance on how to get there from the south railway. Overall, it is a great spot to dine before a game. View all feedback.
What Matt2582 doesn't like about Hbs:
Our experience at this restaurant was awful. We were seated at a cramped table and had to request to be moved. They forgot to bring us the bread and drinks that we had already paid for. The appetizers were disappointing, but the main dishes were tasty. However, the dessert was supposed to be ice cream with strawberries and cream, but our son only received a small cup of ice cream. I had luck being invited to one of the company lounges for the brighton vs spurs game and I was really impressed. the stadion was nice, friendly staff fans, eating was excellent the service was amazing. looks like everyone sitting in the stadion also had a great view, would like to visit again.
Visited the Amex Lounge today for the Brighton vs Aston Villa game. The whole experience was wonderful and we'd like to make a special shout out for John who was really helpful and directed us to the Multi Faith Room nearby. I've been to a number of prayer rooms at stadiums and this was on a different level well done BHA!
I was given a voucher for Sunday lunch at the restaurant HBs, which is part of the Amex (American Express Community Stadium), home to the Brighton Hove Albion football club. I booked a table for two: my friend is disabled and we were directed to the disabled parking spaces where we were greeted by a very helpful man with a golf cart. We were taken to the west reception, guided to an elevator and walked a short distance to HBs. We were greeted, our reservation was confirmed and we were led to our table with a view of the stadium. Bottled water was on the table (still or sparkling), we were served freshly baked rolls and our drinks were brought with a smile. The Sunday lunch menu included 3 starters and 4 main courses. We chose a chicken liver parfait that came with piccalilli, sun-dried tomatoes, and smoked salmon terrine that came with apple, fennel, and coleslaw with pickles. Both were served with toasted ciabatta bread and garnished with micro herbs and edible flowers. For the main courses we had roasted lamb and roasted beef, both served with Yorkshire puddings, roasted potatoes, roasted vegetables, broccoli and greens, red cabbage, gravy and sauces. Delicious. (You could have had a chicken dish or a vegetarian risotto). We even got a dessert: I had berries with cream and meringue and my friend had jam with custard. The waitstaff were lovely: efficient, friendly, polite and helpful. After our meal we were taken back to the car. I will definitely return; give it a try: great food and great service and if you are looking for a gift for a Brighton fan, this would be perfect.
Great way to watch a Premier League match. Good restaurant and 3-course meal followed by decent seats in the main stand at Amex. A pint ready for you at halftime, so no need to queue and a nice, warm place to sit before, at halftime, and after. Highly recommended.
We stayed for Sunday lunch after the stadium tour. Three dishes, all of which were incredibly delicious. The roast beef was perfectly cooked and served with a huge Yorkshire pudding, delicious vegetables, and roasted potatoes. Bring a big appetite with you as the portions are generous, beautifully presented, and taste amazing. Everything was enjoyed at a leisurely pace with a view of the stadium. They only serve lunch on Sundays on the first Sunday of the month. Make a reservation to avoid disappointment. Absolutely recommend it!
