What Matt I doesn't like about Ihop:
This has been a horrible experience every time ordering from here. Food was cold when delivered (not warm, not hot) no strawberries or powdered sugar on French toast. Cinnamon in one spot on pancakes. 1.5 hours to get our food and it came with tinfoil wrapped over the top of lids that held our food. For $90 to get VERY sub-par food is rediculous. My spouse recently went to an IHOP in anther state and enjoyed the turkey dinner. See the attached picture titled “Good Turkey Dinner”. It was good food, so later we decided to go to this IHOP which is in our area. We ordered the turkey and the pot roast. The turkey was literally a pile of grilled lunch meat. See the picture titled “Lunch Meat Turkey Dinner”. The pot-roast was a stew of grease and burned pieces which looked like they came from the bottom of the pan of yesterday’s pot-roast. See the picture titled “Burnt Pot Roast”.Neither meal was edible. I was shocked that the waitress would deliver something like that, and was equally shocked that the cook would serve it up. Just to be clear, under no circumstance would I accept that this would be served to anyone. When we went up pay, we told the manager what we had experienced and she did not charge us. That was fair, because we didn’t eat what they had brought. Can’t bring myself to call it ‘food’. I did appreciate that the manager took some accountability.I’ve not had a good experience at this IHOP and I do not recommend it.
We had breakfast for dinner. The food was excellent and prepared just as we ordered it. Lyrica, the person who took care of us, was a real treat attentive without being intrusive and with a fun bit of friendly banter.
Slow service, waited 45 minutes to get our food and the place wasn't even busy. To top it off, the food was cold.
