Was Evan at Abby's Cafe a mag?
Had the Steak Sandwich and it was mouth watering. Had breakfast here as well and enjoyed every bite. Only giving 4 out of 5 simply because its HELLA expensive. Me and my gf got 2 sandwiches and 2 beverages and it totaled to $50! That's a bit steep in today's economy. View all feedback.
I ordered a hand-made sandwich called the Caesar's Palace and waited about 20 minutes for it to arrive. I was wondering what was taking so long, but when the sandwich finally arrived, I understood why. The chicken was freshly cooked, the bacon was crispy and warm, and there was a nice green Romaine lettuce leaf and a bright red tomato peeking out of the sandwich. The advertised avocado was clearly present, all on top of lightly toasted Iggy's bread. I later found out that the chef was also the owner of the restaurant, and the young man who took my order was patient and friendly as I struggled to choose from the delicious menu options.
This is one of my personal favorite restaurants. I've tried items from both the breakfast and lunch menus, and everything has been fantastic. The breakfast burrito and breakfast banh mi (try it on a French roll instead of a bagel) are both exceptional. For lunch, the Asian fried chicken sandwich, steak and cheese, traditional banh mi (I prefer mine with chicken and a fried egg on top), chili chicken burrito, and Cubano sandwich are all delicious options. Their soups are always homemade and superb. They also offer homemade smoothies and desserts. The service is excellent and the ambiance is cool, especially with an outdoor patio in the back for nice weather. I highly recommend this place.
This restaurant offers a wide range of options and is popular with the locals. As someone who avoids dairy, I appreciate that they make an effort to cater to dietary restrictions. However, the downside is that they are often overcrowded and understaffed, resulting in lengthy wait times.
Just moved away from Brighton, and I'll miss this place for sure. The Lumberjack is utter genius, and the Breakfast Torta reminds me of the breakfasts I ate in Texas. Definitely a little treasure in Brighton! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
