We decided to pop into the Eddy after seeing it won the Bravo award. In all honesty we are unsure as to how they won. Very unfriendly landlady. Barely spoke to us even though the pub was empty on a bank hols. Felt we were intruding on a 'locals pub '. When we left, we brought our glasses to the bar and the landlady barely acknowledged us. read moreThe Eddy, a recently awarded pub in Brighton, has garnered mixed reviews that reflect a range of customer experiences. While its selection of beers and vibrant atmosphere for sports enthusiasts stand out, the service and overall warmth seem inconsistent. Some patrons felt unwelcome, citing a lack of engagement from staff, while others praised the friendliness of certain team members. The food, particularly the vegan options, received compliments, though the taste of traditional roasts fell short for some. Overall, while The Eddy holds promise, it may not cater to everyone's expectations of a welcoming pub experience.
