Poppy's Sandwich - Brighton

This is one of the best sandwich shops I've ever been, by far the best in Britain. This is authenticity at its peak. ALL the ingredients are fresh and right in front of you (the chicken is literally cut from the chest and placed on your sandwich). The owner is the most cheerful and friendly lady as well as you feel like someone from your family makes the food. Will come back every time I need a sandwich in Brighton.

I had made an absolutely delicious vegan sandwich fresh in front of me (smooth tofu, sun-dried toms and spinach). Great value and great service too.

A few times came here and every time I get blown away from the customer service and the quality of the food! Today I had the falafel and tzatziki sandwich and I honestly said it was one of the best sandwich I ever had, which surprised me when I was usually a big meat eater. I was a little sad when I finished it. To round it off, the great smiles of the staff will always make sure you run away with a smile.

Sandwiches! No hipster, no craft BS. Just really good sandwiches. Jerk chicken is excellent and the German club sandwich will take most people down. 2019 edit... BUT... the owner displays a toxic attitude towards her staff. Sad
