The first time the big vegan breakfast filled me up! Usually, the 'big ' breakfast options at cafes leave me wanting, but wow this this fill me up! Very testy, very filling, well worth the money. Their vanilla hot chocolate fantastic too, just the right amount of sweetness. Definitely recommend! View all feedback.
We absolutely love visiting Lydea whenever we are in the Brighton Lanes. Fresh, healthy food with a revolving weekly menu. Lots of hot dishes, plus a variety of colourful salads. Pricing is reasonable and the portion size is decent. The staff are lovely and so accommodating. This is a very popular cafe... and it does get very busy on Saturdays, so maybe go slightly before or after 1pm to avoid the rush. Also because space is quite tight inside you may have to share your table with others. We'll be back soon.
The best place to eat during the day in Brighton. Delicious, healthy, fairly-priced food in a lovely environment served by kind people. I've been eating here for 20 years and I've never had a bad experience. I always bring visiting friends here and regardless of whether people are vegetarian or not they always love it. Totally recommended. And they do take aways too.
Super sweet vegetarian cafe, perfectly tucked in to the iconic and adorable Brighton lanes. We had the vegan breakfast and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Above and beyond a typical cafe breakfast, with attention to flavourful ingredients. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this cute spot for a breakfast bite.
Wholesome home-cooked style, mostly vegan food (some veggie options) served up in a positive and welcoming environment for the most reasonable prices!! Can't say how much I enjoy this gem of a restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner--the options are endless, and you can choose your main, sides and toppings for your perfect meal! Iydea is possibly my favourite place to eat in Brighton.
One of my favourite places to eat in Brighton. It’s full of awesome veggie food options and their roasted potatoes are super yummy! They always have a variety of vegan and vegetarian main, side, salad, and toppings options as well as smoothies, deserts and more. This little restaurant is always very busy, but we always manage to find a place to seat when there. Prices are great and staff is amaze! Highly recommend.
