Unfortunately, there seems to be new management now (I think anyway), as the person with brown curly hair was quite abrupt and rude. The service made us feel uncomfortable and we just wanted to leave asap after finishing our food. I don’t think it was just a bad day as I’ve heard this from a local in Brighton. Love that it is fully veggie with lots of vegan options. I had the vegan fish with vegan tartare, chilli tofu kale salad, broccoli pepper salad and vegan aoili. Was really filling and healthy which is lovely. Really nice iced oat decaf latte. The staff were really informative, friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back again and again. The staff were incredibly helpful with a great knowledge of their menu (this should be normal, but not always in my experience). Being a well-travelled individual, I know the struggles of getting healthy vegetarian/vegan food but Iydea came through with smashing flavours and healthy ingredients. I and my partner had lunch and a super tasty smoothie. You can really see they have put lots of thought into sourcing and making the food. I met one of the managers whose passion for food was contagious, he told me about his early days making bread in Taiwan. This place is a must go, if you're looking for drinks/lunch or dinner. I can't wait to try more soon!!! I wanted to thank you for making it a very personal experience, places like Iydea make Brighton great in my opinion.

Really appreciated all the allergen information as well as a vegan with a nut allergy, makes all the difference to me. Friendly staff, good vibes.

Long counter select the visible items as the price is based on a set selection price) the lovely counter staff serve ample portions on a plate and you pay when your plate is fully loaded. And then sit down and enjoy a hearty meal. Just eat here, you won't regret it
