To be brutally honest, sushi is a 4/5. but they can not ignore all the ethos this little jewel of a sushi shop. they let them decide how much they pay for the sushi burritos, with a part of it go o charity. these are the companies I admire. well done! LL/OC View all feedback.
What tasha65726 doesn't like about Happy Maki Take Away:
This restaurant used to be fully dedicated to gluten-free options, but some of their suppliers have introduced 'may contain' warnings. They do provide an allergen matrix, but not all menu items are gluten-free anymore. I personally haven't had a reaction, but it's something to keep in mind. The food is delicious, though! The Happy Maki is my ULTIMATE festival snack, have seen them at loads of evens and I scoffed my weight in their plant based sushi burritos the summer season just gone. When I realised they 'd set up shop in my home town BTN I obv could not resist a visit. Honestly, these guys made it into my death row meal selection and me n my stomach will forever be indebted to u. Pictured: HOISIN 'DUCK ' Duck yes. Probably the one I 've eaten the most because the flavour is just outrageous. The duck style jackfruit is delissshh.
The 'fully load ' is a must try. Also, the cauliflower fires are so crispy. Highly recommend if you want some healthy and simple food.
I went here a while ago and have been recommending it to people ever since. It's my favourite vegan place in the city and is in a lovely spot for a walk on the seafront. A great alternative for vegan people visiting Brighton who don't want to grab fish and chips or just sushi lovers in general.
Great vegan place! The sushi poke bowl was great. Highly suggest!
Great food but both Brighton places closed on Sunday despite being able to order on Just Eat.
